Thailand Tourist eVisa is an online travel permit that allows entry into the country for tourism, sightseeing, leisure and holiday.
To obtain the tourist eVisa the applicant is required to submit an online visa application and the approved eVisa is delivered to the registered email ID.
Documents to Prepare for Your Application
To obtain Tourist eVisa, the applicant is required to submit:
- Passport Biopage Scan: Submit a clear scan of passport biodata page. The passport must be valid for 6 months from arrival.
- Applicant Photo: Submit photograph taken within the last 6 months.
- Travel Booking Confirmation: Submit flight ticket, ferry/ship booking or any other travel proof showing entry into and exit from Thailand.
- Proof of Accommodation: Submit hotel booking or invitation letter issued by the host in Thailand.
- Proof of Sufficient Funds: Submit bank statement, salary slips or other similar proof. The minimum amount must be no less than 20,000 THB.
- Document Indicating Current Location: Submit a document that confirms your current location such as utility bill, residence permit, visa. Ensure the submitted document confirms your current address.

Step 1: Complete the Online Visa Application
Passport and travel details are required. Select ‘single or multiple entry option’, from the purpose of visit dropdown menu select ‘tourism/leisure activity’.
Step 2: Upload Your Documents
Verify that submitted details are correct, then upload all the required documents. Do not submit blurred or invalid documents.
Step 3: Complete Payment & Receive Approval
Use debit/credit card, PayPal, cryptocurrency to pay the visa fee. Once the processing is completed, the approved eVisa is delivered to applicant’s registered email.

When Can You Expect the Tourist eVisa Delivery?
- Standard processing issues the eVisa within 4 -7 Days.
- Rush processing delivers the eVisa within 3 - 5 Days.
- Super-rush processing takes only 2 - 4 Days to issue the eVisa.
Any applicant selecting rush or super-rush processing is required to pay additional fee. The Thailand eVisa Fee cannot be paid in cash.
