Thailand offers 2 Tourist eVisa options: Single entry and multiple entry. Both entry option differ in stay duration, validity, number of allowed entries and permitted travel purposes.

- Permitted Purposes:
- Tourism / Leisure activities
- Visiting family residing in Thailand (less than 60 days)
- Medical treatment (less than 60 days)
- Recreation learning or training activities
- Football trial
- MICE activities supported by TCEB
- Validity: 90 days from the date of issuance
- Max Stay: Up to 60 days
2. Thailand Multiple-Entry Tourist eVisa
- Best for: Multiple tourism/leisure trip
- Validity: 180 days from the issue date
- Max Stay: Up to 60 days per visit

- Taking up employment
- Conducting business
- Formal study or education
- Performing official duties
- Investment-related activities
Documents Required for Thailand Tourist eVisa
Requirements vary depending on travel purpose selected. Common requirement for all travel purpose include:
Passport Bio-Page Scan: The passport must be valid for 6 months from arrival.
Recent Photograph: Must reflect applicants current appearance.
Travel Booking Confirmation: Flight ticket, ferry/ship booking, any other travel proof.
Sufficient Fund Proof: Bank statement, payslips or ther similar financial proof. Minimum balance must be 20,000 TBH.
Accommodation Proof in Thailand: Hotel booking, invitation letter from host in thailand, or any other document confirming accommodation during the stay.
Document Confirming Applicants Current Location: Utility bill, visa, residence permit or any other document that confirm your current location.
Selecting tourist single-entry eVisa purpose other than tourism/leisure will require applicants to submit additional documents for Thailand eVisa application.
Note: Multiple entry tourist eVisa application only requires common documents.
Cost of Thailand Tourist eVisa
Thailand eVisa fee the applicant is required to pay depends of the selected entry-type and processing option. Rush and super-rush processing deliver eVisa faster for an additional fee.
Thailand Tourist eVisa Extension
Travellers who wish to stay in Thailand beyond their permitted stay can apply for an extension at an Immigration Office in Thailand. An extension of up to 30 additional days may be granted, subject to approval by the immigration officer.
Note: Extension can only be possible from inside Thailand before the eVisa stay duration expires.
